Beginner and student, technical work and youth research - we advise and accompany! And: For interested students, we have a material pool from which various components can be borrowed. |
Loanable Solar Spectrograph |
We lend a free solar spectrograph to carry out observation projects. The spectrograph can be opened. Everything is visible and easy to understand and therefore very instructive for beginners. A refractor mounted on a hand-operated parallactic mount projects the sun as a disk of about 7cm onto a screen. There is a small hole in the screen, in which a 30m long fiber optic cable is screwed in. The light from the small section of the projected solar disk is directed into the spectrographs of the Czerny-Turner type. A CCD camera then registers the spectrum with a resolution R of approx. 12000 (or one looks directly at the spectrum with an eyepiece). SSS-Sun-Spectrum und User Manual.
